can dpkg list all dependant packages? (was Re: Dselect and xlib)

This isn't an answer to your question, but your Q reminded me of one I've
been meaning to ask.
Can dpkg generate a list of all known or installed packages which depend
on a given package?
e.g.
dpkg --list-dependants xlib
to generate a list of all packages which require xlib.
