Bug#2670: small changes needed
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 1.1.0
In boot-floppies-1.1.0/scripts/rootdisk/prototype/Install/dsetup-kbd
root=/root is wrong, which makes it unable to pick another Keyboard Layout
at Boottime.
The syslogd from the basedisks tries to log to /var/logs/news/ (the s is too
much), which will generate an error message at startup and an error if
trying to 'Configure' with dselect.
The installed mount from the base system doesnt support the -n option, which
will fail in unmounting at shutdown and generate dirty filesystems.
In addition to the full-screen Dialog (alt+f1) and the root-shell (alt+f2)
there should be a third screen holding the kernels messages cause those will
be cleared from the full-screen dialog. This can be used as a log screen, if
the disnatll writes each operation with a simple echo:
[kerneloutput is redirected to tty3]
echo "Mounting blabla">/dev/tty3
then on tty3 there will be...
-------------------------------------
Mounting blabla
mount: ext2fs: broken superblock...
--------------------------------------
Greetings
Bernd
