Apropos this, I *think* what's happening is that the root name servers
have stale glue records. We got bitten by this recently, finding that
the Internic was reporting glue records for dns0.elmail.co.uk (and I'm
not convinced it has any business whatsoever providing glue records
for co.uk names). I think someone should shout at them...
