Bug#2470: in kernel Attached ether adapter driver interferes with lp module init

Does this still exist in kernel 1.3.71 ? If so, please send this patch to
the driver author, to linus.torvalds@cs.helsinki.fi, and to
linux-kernel@vger.rutgers.edu . We like to have the kernel group patch
the kernel - it would be difficult to maintain if our version of the kernel
diverged from theirs.
