Ahh, thank you for that, I was going by the versions listed in
tracker.debian.org and packages.debian.org - presumably the binNMU is
still too new in some way (or maybe pending public DSA). That
presumably explains synaptic ruling them out as too new

No, I'm on stretch, but the only screenshot of trigger-rally was
previously from wheezy.
