Please keep in mind that we need some time to verify if the new release is suitable for a stable release though. Deadline for Ubuntu 14.10 is August the 7th btw. So a new release should happen a few weeks before that. Since we speak about games it may often take months until users report bugs for a certain version and if some serious flaw is discovered after the freeze, and more than a one-liner is needed to fix it, we face the risk that the game might be dropped from the next stable release. Another option: We could also ship 0.4 for Jessie and provide 0.7 in jessie-backports. I think my biggest concern is that the contrib courses in "tuxracer-extras" are no longer supported by 0.6. I also didn't find any documentation for how one can convert old courses or create new ones. I have asked this question twice before. [1] [2] Do you intend to support this feature again, maybe for 0.7?
