Hans, since I know that you follow this list, allow me to ask you some
questions about Fedora that might be interesting for others here, too.

Does Fedora provide some kind of overview for all packaged games on its
official website or do I have to install Fedora to generate a list for
myself? I'm asking because i can't find a complete list of games and the
package database does not let me filter for games. [7]

yum uses separate meta-data to group packages and allow things like
yum group-install games

You can find the latest version of this meta-data here:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/comps.git/tree/comps-f20.xml.in

Then search for games, and you'll find a list of all games in Fedora
there. At least on paper, this meta-data is maintained manually, so
it might miss 1 or 2 games, which reminds me that I need to add
funguloids to the list. Is funguloids packaged for Debian ? If not
you should really package it it is cool. While making recommendations,
I'm myself also a big fan of lacewing and overlord, both of which are
not packaged for Debian yet AFAIK.

Hans
