There is for sure.
Do you already have an account on Alioth? If so, the Games/VCS page
above will tell you how to create a new git repository. Then you'd
merge the whole repo from gnu.org there and move files around as long
you get the needed layout. It seems that we mostly use the layout
git-buildpackage gives us:
upstream: only upstream source
master: upstream plus debian modifications (debian/)
pristine-tar: the deltas for p-t (if any)
I must admit that I'm not really familiar with Git here at DGT, I only
use it for one package (outside of DGT and there with a different
layout :P), so my answers might be not perfect :)
If you can come to irc (#debian-games, oftc) there are people using git
who will be able to help more than I do */me winks ansgar*
