we are buggy - please help :)

Hey,

today I had some time (well, actually I should have learned for exams,
but... you know that) and had a look at our bugs. I think we have way
too much, and the freeze for Lenny will come soon, so I think we should
fix things NOW :)

pending bugs
============
There are 8 pending bugs on
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=maint&data=pkg-games-devel%40lists.alioth.debian.org&archive=no&version=&dist=unstable&pend-inc=pending-fixed

most of them just needs an upload.

random comments (mostly for closing)
====================================
Then I randomly picked bugs and comment on the following:

#432015 whichwayisup: Strange access to CD ROM
looks like a problem on etch only, should be imho closed

#434000 vodovod: using much too much CPU
can't reproduce here, load seems okay, will ping author, but imho
closeable

#425006 renpy: dse game results in ScriptError
dunno if we can close that, Miry?

#335965 xbat: impossible to change keys
true, but the game is playable, as sam says, so imho close

#247067 mathwar: the text is messed up
this seems fixed as a side-effect of the gtk2 patch, close?

#450144 bouncy: debian/watch fails to report upstream's version
i pushed a fix into svn, so pending, but:
why does the debian version look like 0.x.date? upstream looks happy
with his x only versions...

#454532 dreamchess: freezes
unreproducible, already pinged the author, mail bounces :(

If no one objects, I'll ping the authors tomorrow and close the closable
in a week.

close wontfix?
=============
Additionally there are 9 wontfix tagged bugs, which are either old
enough, or described with a good reason why not to fix. Should these be
closed? Or let them open (why?)?

hell, Evgeni, shut-up and go to bed
===================================
So not written a line of code, but "fixed" 24 bugs (yeah, not really
fixed, I know).
I'll try to patch some gcc4.3/python bugs tomorrow (after I have
learned a bit).
In the meantime: please have a look at your packages, do they have
bugs? If so, do the bugs still exist in the latest version? Or is is
just a missing upload.

Let's play some bug squashing ;)

Regards
Evgeni, who wants just to do something to help Debian :)
