Some cvn hooks changes ( r623 - feat: change to sarge deps )
Hello all
I have been annoyed abou the commit messages not to give a good
overview from the mail subject and decided to make some modification.
First, using 3 exclamation marks does not look like a good idea now
when the directory list is truncated and it does not give enough info
if that happens. Also, the "lots of dirs" is not that accurate and I
replaced it with "dirs' list truncated", which IMHO is a lot better
and correct ;-)
Also I thought of putting instead of the directory list in the
subject, the log enetered (see the subject of forwarded test message
below). This way, the contents of the change is more clear imediately
from the moment the subject is seen (unless the message is not too
descriptive, which should not be a problem since we all want clear
log messages so we can track easily the changes, don't we? ;-)
What do you think about this change? Should I make the whole change?
Note: multiline log messages are still a problem, but I think is
better that than having the affected path (which is specified in the
mail itself).
