Hamm Bug Stamp-Out List for July 17, 1998
Welcome to the new Hamm Bugs Stamp-Out List.
After another day of frenzic working to fix those lasts packages
(and a couple of security-bugs that came up). Some didn't make it,
but we are now close to releasing hamm.
The online version is available at http://master.debian.org/~wakkerma/bugs.html .
The page is updated at least every 4 hours.
Major changes since the last post:
- New release-critical bugs: none
- Closed/downgraded release-critical bugs: 23153(binutils),
24634(boot-floppies), 24569(bsdutils), 24443(dhcp), 24442 &
24445(dhcp-beta), 17624 & 20401 & 21182(dpkg), 24236(emacs20), 23877 &
24669(ftp.debian.org), 22941(libreadline2), 24022(libssl), 24126(screen),
23717 & 24595(smail), 24557(ssh), 24200(termcap-compat)
- Removed packages: cvs-pcl(22577), libc6-pre2.1-doc(24354)
- nonus was excluded (18572,18785,20773,21423,22287,23642) since it's not
being released.
This leaves us with 2 bugs, both of which are being handled.
This also makes this list somewhat useless, so this will be the last
post, unless weird things start happening to hamm.
Our fearless release-manager declared that Hamm will be officially released on
Friday, July 24th at 0:00 UTC. That's friday morning, thursday night! m68k
will be released as soon as all packages are recompiled and uploaded.
Also, prepare for the irc-party of the century on irc.debian.org,
channel #debian.
