Unless you cross the international dateline, or DST comes into effect :p

On a slightly more serious note, everyone only having a limited amount
of time is a reason to forward things upstream *first* (or when a patch
is applied), and saving multiple people the effort of merging and
maintaining that patch.

There are various attempts at getting infrastructure all distros can
work together/share on, never seems to work out properly. :/
