I was referring to that - of course X does not depend on systemd, but
systemd provides features which make it possible to fix existing
issues, that's why it makes sense to use it. Of course it does not
exclude implementing that stuff in a different, non-systemd tool, but
to my knowledge nobody has done that yet.
