Bug#422139: init script for git-daemon (summary; possible action)

Just to summarize what I understand to be the current status of this
bug:

1) git-daemon-run currently does not provide a sys-v init script
because it is designed to be run by runit; no existing package
provides a sys-v init script for git-daemon.

2) Gerrit Pape is willing to apply a patch to git-daemon (or produce
an additional package) to provide a sys-v init script, which is to be
written by contributors who desire to see such functionality, and plan
to maintain the functionality.

Since #2 is at most what the committee could decide to do, there's no
decision for the technical committee to make regarding this bug.

Thus, I suggest that this issue be reassigned to git-daemon, tagged
with wontfix and help, and Aurélien Gérôme (or any other individual)
prepare a patch, and work with Gerrit Pape to make it mutually
agreeable. If at some point there is a workable patch, but there is an
inability to come to agreement, it can be brought back to the CTTE for
a decision. [At any time, specific questions which don't require a
CTTE decision can of course be asked via the ctte mailing list.]

Does anyone have any objections or suggestions? [I plan to reassign
after 4 days if there are none.]
