MIT Stata Center "Gates" entrance

Then elevator to 4th floor, there's no front desk or sign in just come
on up. Working on internal signs so hopefully no one gets too lost.

local transit info:

https://www.mbta.com/ is public transit
inbound access from airport is free

MIT is at the "Kendall Sq" stop on subway's redline:
https://www.mbta.com/stops/subway

Right now a Lyft from MIT to airport is running ~$25 for what that's
worth...

:I'll reach Boston on Saturday evening, do you have any suggestion on
:what to visit on Sunday? Are shops open on Sundays? I'll be looking for
:a pair of jeans for my son...

Obviously what to do depends on what you like. Based on looking for
jeans and my habit of just walking my feet off in a new city here's
some thoughts:

Most things in the city are open Sundays but perhaps not as late as
other days. The immediate area around MIT is more prone to close.

Sunday looks a good day high 20℃ mostly sunny, though bit cool in
morning and evening (7℃).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downtown_Crossing is an shopping focused
pedestrian mall downtown to get what ever you like. If your staying
near MIT it's an easy trip on "Redline" subway.

not too far away is https://faneuilhallmarketplace.com/ which is more
tourist focused out door shopping center so good for souvenirs and
things.

Boston is very small and walkable so once you're there besides those
shops there's parks:

https://www.boston.gov/parks/public-garden
https://www.bostonharbornow.org/what-we-do/explore/harborwalk/
https://www.rosekennedygreenway.org

There's food not far from any of those palces.

In the other direction "outbound" on the redline from MIT there's
Central Square
(https://www.bostonmagazine.com/property/2019/01/08/central-square-neighborhood-guide/)
and Harvard Square (https://www.harvardsquare.com/) both in Cambridge
and both with lots of restraunts. Central has more bars and night
clubs, Harvard has a few more souvenir and novelty shops (and some
little university I think)
