I do only change addresses, seldom anything else.
Anything else could be managed by tools like FAI or chef
post-installation or could be changed later in a refactoy phase where
default remains as before mechanisms for change those other tings
could be added later.
Would suggest place the files for plugin etc and later change if
needed more options. It is easier to change later, we (you) advance
faster and others could use that as chance to learn how to help the
project. ;-)
Only win-win for at least two of programmers virtues!
