I suggest mate-terminal. It should show up in cinnamon (when I used it
it did). Again, Fabio, if you could push these changes to experimental
that would be great.

I have gnome-terminal and it also in favorites seems strange is
changed to not show in cinnamon, I'll try to check on updated Sid
(I
haven't updated it for a few months)
and confirmed I'll put mate-terminal as default in meta package
and cinnamon favorites.
What I also would like to suggest, is to install Atril and to remove Evince as PDF reader. The point with Evince is that the layout is very different from the other programs, it has a Gnome-look. You have to find how you can print, for example. Atril comes from Mate and lookslike all the other programs.
I also hate "minimalistic layout" that are too common in recent years but Atril was forked from evince long time ago, I don't know if have good development that keep merged bugfixes and useful features.
