Hmm, well, although Portugal was the center of the Portuguese-speaking world outside Brazil up through the 1960s, I'm not sure to what extent this is true today. Since there are marked differences in computer jargon between the two language variants, it seems entirely possible that users in other Portuguese-speaking nations, such as Angola, will prefer the translation of whoever they received their computer training from, which could result in a situation where pt_BR is the preferred translation and pt_AO is the preference for everything else. -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
