I can not use chinese in sid

Hello.
I installed
	locales
	kde-i18n-zhcngb2312
	chinput
	ttf-arphic-gkai00mp
	ttf-arphic-gbsn00lp
	x-ttcidfont-conf
and edited my .bashrc (and /etc/profile):
	export LC_ALL=zh_CN.GB2312
	export LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GB2312
	export LANG=zh_CN.GB2312
	export XMODIFIERS=@im=Chinput
	stty cs8 -istrip
	stty pass8
and my .inputrc
	set meta-flag on
	set convert-meta off
	set output-meta on

my /etc/locale.gen
	zh_CN GB2312

I typed locale-gen and it said
	Generating locales...
		zh_CN.GB2312... done
	Generation complete

then, I edited /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
	...
	#FontPath	"unix/:7100"
	...
	FontPath	"/usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType"
	...
	#	Load "freetype"
		Load	"xtt"

but, I can't use chinese in kde2.2 now yet.
I choose language "chinese" and character set "gb2312",
kde can't show chinese .

I can't open a chinese-website using conquer2.2 (www.linuxbyte.net).
if I choose the encoding "iso8859-1", it shows strange characters.
if I choose the encoding "gb2312", it shows nothing but blank.

In one sentence, my sid can't show even one chinese word, except in cce.
can someone tell me what's wrong?
