RE: PPPoE Problem

Anthony兄太?举了，小弟学艺未精，还请多多指教。
九龙华仁里有十多台的伺服器，除了一两台较强的主伺服器外，
其馀的均是486或Pentium级的电脑。它们绝大部份都是运行
Debian GNU/Linux的，而装置于走廊的X Terminals均采用
Debian GNU/Linux。在小弟的UNIX生涯里，小弟尝试过很多
其他的Linux distribution，没有一个能存在于小弟的电脑超过
三天，唯独是Debian已差不多应用于小弟家中的小些伺服器接
近达一年之久。
小弟觉得Debian比较「清新」和方便。很多其他的distribution
在安装的时候都会将一大堆套件安装，这样令我感到和Windows
的方式差不多，而且大部份时候有很多的套件都不会用得上，浪
费硬碟空间，档案位置复杂，难以辨识，对于新手使用时反而需
要加倍小心。在普通安装的情况下，很多时候会把很多伺服器
服务启动，若不予理会，很大机会造成保安漏洞。如本校曾有一
台RedHat伺服器，小弟的朋友以自制的port scanner以此为测试
对象，结果发现有一奇怪的port 7401。Telnet至该埠后，骇然于
画面上出现一「#」(root)！
小弟安装Debian的手法是只用apt-get不用dselect的，这样可以
节省更多空间，只是需要使用的才会抓。
说得太多了，还望多多见谅，指出错处。

(apt-cache search pppoe), 发现原来 rp-pppoe 已经包装了：
