Re: PowerPC Problem

Thanks Richard

Yes, I downloaded both "debian-30r0-powerpc-binary-1.iso" and
"debian-30r0-powerpc-binary-1_NONUS.iso" to see if it made any difference. I got the identical problem both times.

I've now got a bit further using a minumum install which is available from an imaclinux site in .sit format, and therefore doesnt rely on DiskCopy. Maybe I could do this job with an alternative to DiskCopy. The instructions say that Toast can do it directly. I couldnt figure out how. I can only burn a copy of the .iso file.

I assume you mean "debian-30r0-powerpc-binary-1.iso" or
"debian-30r0-powerpc-binary-1_NONUS.iso"?

I'm CCing debian-powerpc for the following questions:

Sorry, no idea.

No. Having one would be nice, but I can't see that happening any time
soon.

Cheers,
