Well, sorry if I accused you of bug terrorism.

But you have to realize that boot-floppies has bug handling problems,
and is one of the top 6 packages for number of bugs.  A good 30% of
the bugs filed against it are filed improperly.  So I don't like to
see respected people like you throwing bugs there (where they are
likely to get lost) if there's not the best reason.

Yes, you claimed that since slink-cd just uses the most recent stable
boot-floppies, then it must be a boot-floppies bug.  

However, as you can see, it is not the case that the most recent
stable boot-floppies uses kernel 2.2.x as claimed.

Therefore, I can't see how it could possibly be a boot-floppies bug.
