dvd should use udf filesystem. but like cdrom, it´s a block device, so you
could but anything on it. like you can put a tar on a cdrom or floppy without
any filesystem. you can also do an ext2 on a cdrom...

more important: what about windows ? will it understand a iso9550/joliet on
a dvd ? we need windows support, as people need dos/windows to create boot
disks or use fips for repartitioning their hard disk or ...
