slinkcd v 0.95

I've got this running on open at the moment, hopefully about to build
slink CD trees for m68k, alpha and i386 into temporary directories
~stsvem/slinkcd-$ARCH. This'll take a couple of hours to run, but
hopefully we're about there in terms of laying out the CDs. I'll need to
check that all 5 for each will fit properly and work properly, which I'll
check on tomorrow.

I think all that's left now is:

a) slink needs to freeze completely :-)
b) I need to fiddle to get m68k, alpha and ??? disks bootable where
possible.

I've now got a simple wrapper (not yet in the tarball) to drive things:

====================
#!/bin/bash

for ARCH in alpha i386 m68k
do
        TMPDIR=~stevem/slinkcd-$ARCH ./slink_cd clean genlist tree \
		flatten md5check packages boot extras md5list $ARCH \
		non-free non-US
done
===================

The scripts should cope with just about any slink architecture now, so
those of you with other arches please grab it from

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~stevem/DebianCD/

and try it out. Any breakages/comments, please tell me.

P.S. Thank you and good night. I'm now about to drive 250 miles to my
parents' for Christmas and I may only have patchy connectivity/email there
for the next week. Merry Christmas / season's greetings to everyone...

  Getting a SCSI chain working is perfectly simple if you remember that there
  must be exactly three terminations: one on one end of the cable, one on the
  far end, and the goat, terminated over the SCSI chain with a silver-handled
  knife whilst burning *black* candles. --- Anthony DeBoer
