Hi, Holger Wansing <hwansing@mailbox.org> (2025-05-22): > If there are no objections, I would got with the above two changings for now: > - change the problematic description for task-hamradio-blend, > as in https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/blendsel/-/merge_requests/3 > - make sure no new broken description (with comma) arrives blendsel in the future, as in > above mentioned lightning-rod-1106127 branch Yeah, I was waiting a bit to see if the plan made sense before uploading those changes. We might have to keep an eye on the da translation (which apparently goes through the DDTP I'd think?): Debian Hamradio (amatørradio, SDR og hobby-radio) Not a definitive analysis, I just clicked through the languages available on the website, and only spotted this language with a translation: https://packages.debian.org/da/sid/task-hamradio-blend I didn't keep my heavily-tweaked image (since I moved to firmware-sof-signed fun), so I won't test right away. Worst case, the hamradio blend cannot be installed when a translation uses a comma (unless or until the logic gets rewritten to cope with it). Having the check on debian/rules should ensure no commas sneak back in, so that's already a win, even if not entirely satisfying. I'll upload 0.9 in a moment, and might try and see what the “da” runtime looks like once it reaches the archive. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to the translator(s) to expedite the translation update, or to implement it on your own (I've never toyed with the DDTP myself). I'd expect something like this: -Debian Hamradio (amatørradio, SDR og hobby-radio) +Debian Hamradio (amatørradio og hobby-radio) Cheers, -- Cyril Brulebois (kibi@debian.org) <https://debamax.com/> D-I release manager -- Release team member -- Freelance Consultant
