I've received this e-mail, but somehow it did not cause any impact on
me.

This note is not present. To double check, I just issued
wget https://i18n.debian.org/material/po/unstable/main/d/depthcharge-tools-installer/debian/po/depthcharge-tools-installer_2_templates.pot.gz
And reviewed the the file again. No note.
Maybe you could merge this translation over. Or if you cannot, then
this is not you to blame.

I was a little bit wondering when I saw that you worked on the package
and you are usually working on d-i. But given the many last minute
requests for translations, this did not trigger a big warning with me.

This is a pitty. I'm currently putting in quite some effort to get
everything translated to German in Bookworm, including i18n-NMUs via
my sponsor (which include all available translations, of course).
Also the German translator communitiy is currentently very active, we
have at least 5 translators working towards better localization at the
moment - a fact we haven't seen for a long time.
Thus if you could kindly revisit this decicision and include the
German translation in an upload for bookworm, this would be highly
welcome, most likely also from users. If there is any help I can do,
please let me know.
