Thank you for forwarding me this bug (and to Federico for reporting). I'll take a look and fix the string. There is clearly a mistake there.
Control: reassign -1 grub-installer 1.172
And thanks for your report.
Federico Pinal Moreira <email@example.com> (2021-07-05):
> Dear Maintainer,
> Installing with debian-bullseye-DI-rc2-amd64 in spanish I got a prompt "Aunque
> p" where I should have got something like "Instalar el cargador de arranque
> grub-installer.templates:28001 @ d-i/packages/po/sublevel1/es.po
This seems to date back to the following commit:
Author: Javier Fernández-Sanguino <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Date: Sun Aug 23 17:03:03 2020 +0200
Update translation and fix typos
-msgstr "Instalando el cargador de arranque GRUB"
+msgstr "Aunque p"
which happened along with unfuzzying that particular message.
Reassigning and cc-ing accordingly. If it were me, I would simply revert
that single msgstr update, as the original translation doesn't seem
crazy to me. I'll let Javier or the translation coordinator look at it
first, as I'm absolutely no Spanish speaker. :)
