Hi Cyril, Cyril Brulebois, on 2021-04-28 06:08:30 +0200: > Let's see if this helps! > https://people.debian.org/~kibi/bug-987377/ According to my observations, I does help with all the known bad cases I have hit so far; I notably double checked the "Generic" partition schemes: Device en_US fr_FR /dev/sdb1 ok ok /dev/nvme0n1p1 ok ok /dev/md/0 ok ok /dev/debian-vg/root ok ok Just in case, the mini ISOs never booted EFI, and I never managed to get the ZBook to Bios boot USB thumbs. So I had to carry out the NVMe test in a virtual machine to get some working Bios boot, and use PCI host passthrough on the second NVMe of the machine, to get it to be visible to the installer and rescue environment. I don't believe it affected much the test results, but fyi, just in case it turned out it would make a difference. > Also, thanks for all the tests so far, I've seen the follow-ups… that's > much appreciated (even if slightly frightening if the image linked above > doesn't make the problem go away altogether). You're welcome, I hope the the above is reassuring. Have a nice day, :) -- Étienne Mollier <etienne.mollier@mailoo.org> Fingerprint: 8f91 b227 c7d6 f2b1 948c 8236 793c f67e 8f0d 11da Sent from /dev/pts/2, please excuse my verbosity.
