First, thanks for all you do!

You said salsa or github. I strongly prefer gitlab, not that I have ever used salsa. I have used gitlab, but that is not my objection. Simply: I use github and do not want to have yet another site and profile and ...

Then again, if you are just archiving, not creating a new project, then neither site is appropriate. Git is for projects which will have active development. Now I have said too much, you will do what is best!
