Hi,

the ram requirements needed to install with d-i stated in the
d-i manual are not up-to-date.

Indeed they are outdated since release of Wheezy and before.
Read

and follow-ups, to get an idea what could be changed.


Probably this should be updated now?

So I have now changed into: (all values doubled)

Table 3.2. Recommended Minimum System Requirements
Install Type 	RAM (minimum) 	RAM (recommended) 	Hard Drive
No desktop 	128 megabytes 	512 megabytes 		2 gigabytes
With Desktop 	256 megabytes 	1 gigabyte 		10 gigabytes
