Bug#623410: installation problems with squeeze

> can you try with fdisk instead of dd? As will delete the content of the partition table.

I cleared the partition tables using fdisk but I still see this error
when I try to install it

âââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠[!!] Partition disks ââââââââââââââââââââââââ
    â â
â Unexpected error while creating volume group â
â Autopartitioning using LVM failed because an error occurred while â
â creating the volume group. â
    â â
â Check /var/log/syslog or see virtual console 4 for the details. â
    â â
    â <Go Back> <Continue> â
    â â
    ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ

At this point I have to reboot the machine and then it works. So the
problem is that I have to try the install twice everytime I want to
install. I am using preseed and we have a lot of machines, which
becomes a lot of repetitive work due to this error.
