Re: No network interface detected



Thanks Lennart for your suggestion and link, it is not solved yet. Is it possible to disble the network detection using preseed ? so that error as mentioned in the subject line does not pop up and headless installation does not stop
 
I use in preseed :
d-i netcfg/enable boolean false
 
but d-i does not seem to entertain this statement.
Does somebody have any remarks / advice  on this?

I believe the intsall guide goes through how to provide firmware on
a usb key to the existing installer.  I think there might even be an
installer image out there that contains the nonfree firmware.

http://wiki.debian.org/Firmware has a link to the netinst image that
includes the needed firmware.
