Comments/Problems:
Problem with configuring network submitted separately.
When system reached point of installing grub, it failed to detect Windows. I
told it to install grub on (hd1,0) - which is straight off the menu.lst file
in SuSe. It failed to do this
I tried telling it to install on (hd1); it appeared to work, but when it tried
to reboot, the screen displayed
GRUB GRUB
and the system hung. I was unable to proceed beyond this point.

A lot as changed and have been improved in the debian installer, and now the
current release it's Debian 6.0 'Squeeze' [1].
I am closing this report as this version of the debian installer is not
developed anymore and from the installer reports we receive i believe this
issue was solved long ago.
Please report any issues against current debian installer release.
