Ah, I see. So, I got the luck from the leak..

I thought so. But it turns out to be that it couldn't be enabled before
Squeeze.

I've tried your suggested steps on Lenny installer. Yes, it can display
Thai, but all combining characters are missing. But this problem
does not occur with Squeeze image.

So, it must be some changes in bterm that enabled this.

I've prepared the th.utf file. Please see it in the attachment.

Do we need to add the missing glyphs to the font?
I can do that. Just suggest me where to get the source.
