Bug#576206: debian-installer: [ppc] does not work with serial console

qemu-system-ppc -m 1024 -net nic -net
tap,ifname=tap0,script=no,downscript=nomg -cdrom
debian-504-powerpc-netinst.iso  -boot d -nographic

does not seem to do anything.

Without -nographic a prompt on yellow screen appears where you can type
something to boot an installer.
