Sorry, for not yet replying as I promised and thanks for the reminder. 
Main excuse is that I've gotten "lost" in debmirror [1] and debtree.

I'll move it higher on my ToDo list.

[1] Which now supports mirroring everything needed to to create CD images
    using debian-cd, including (released) D-I images and the "docs" and
    "tools" directories :-)
