Well... I'm just using the on-board chip. The Linux kernel also doesn't
tell me, it only says it has found an 80x25 console (how
embarrassing!).


OpenBSD says it's a

vga1 at pci6 dev 0 function 0 "ATI ES1000" rev 0x02
