Hello.

Please, add mdadm '--assume-clean' options when creating new arrays in
installer to avoid initial resync. This make huge speedups when creating big
arrays (100 Gb or more).

We're not checking disks, we're checking consistency in the
redundancy data for all cases except RAID5; we're building
redundancy data for RAID5.

Don't wait before rebooting; just reboot. Eventually, the array will
be sync'd. You can work on the system normally while it's still
working.

I am closing this bug report. So far, all arguments in favour have
been on the convenience side. I side with Neil and prefer to remain
on the safe side.
