During the installation the syslog is in /var/log/syslog. you can use 
the "Save debug logs" option in the main menu to get it off the system.

Hmm. If you cannot reproduce the original issue, the log is probably not 
much use...

Thanks for trying anyway. Please let us know if you do your reinstall if 
you could reproduce the issue or not. If not, I think we can close the 
report.
