The idea is to not use a video card, so there wouldn't be a video mode
switch (which looks like a frozen system)
In other words: No, it is not about seeing extra messages on the S.L.

Hi, I finally got myself a null-modem cable.
Booting without keyboard & mouse and using the serial console seems to work.
Now I see the install menu.
(But this still doesn't solve the problem when booting with keyboard/mouse)
But thnx! Now I can install Debian and compile my own kernel, etc.
