The same is possible when you are using network-console to do part of the
installation over SSH. From that point you can start a second SSH session
to run a shell. If you run a 'tail -f /var/log/syslog' there you will
have exactly the same as is on VT4.
You can also use the "Save debug log" option in the installer's main menu
to view log files from another system using a webbrowser.
