Thanks. That is good to know. I'm writing a short article for LG about
the installation and so I'll incorporate this info.

In the i386 installer it is possible to switch to another screen to
see the syslog messages which are sometimes useful to look at to know
if something went wrong. There is also a possibility of a shell to
just peek at what's going on. This suggestion is mainly for hackers
like me who will potter around further slowing down the installation :-)
