being careful of windows / automated install (and reinstall) without destroying windows
heya guys,
what's the best people to speak to (partman udeb) about the possibility
of doing a udeb that runs gnu parted (yeessss, the one considered to be
non-freeee with ntfsresiiiize even though it's absolutely fiiine :) )
to resize an ntfs partition, if needed, and, most importantly, to _not_
wipe out the windows partition (or any other OS in fact) under
debconf-database-specified control?
basically i want to be able to give people a CD that does an unattended
debian install _without_ wiping out their windows system.
but if it goes wrong (i need to test it), being able to wipe the install
clean _without_ wiping out their windows system.
i had a bitch of a time using the gparted live cd to do this: it's _got_
to be automatable.
thoughts anyone?
