OK. Could you add a line 'set -x' near the top of the script? The debug 
output should show up in /var/log/syslog and should tell us exactly where 
it goes wrong. (You can probably get the output using the "Save debug 
logs" option in the main menu.)

JFYI, I just uploaded the new version, so it should become available 
sometime in the next 24-36 hours in official images.
