XORG and Debian

Dear friends,

Iàm a very normal PC-User who`s friend advised him to use Debian 4 years ago
- I the meantime I really enjoy working with it, dispite suffering a lot of
pain (because not beeing a PC-spezialist).

Using woody I suffered pain because of xfree86; this stopped with sarge;
last week I tried to install etch - the installation was very good;
congratulations - having finished the installation I really suffered pain
from Xorg; this was really frustrating, because a the information found in
the net did not help.

If you want etch to be the one kicking Win-stupid in the...... you should
find solutions for that problem - normal people should be able to run the
installation without problems up to the point where they can work with it.
And the language of "specialists" does not help if the system can`t be used
as expected.

Please do not see that as a too negativ wording - I really like Debian and
would appreciate it`s sucess in every home on the globe.

Very best regards

Ralf Kniese
