Re: Preseeding Changes from Sarge to Etch

Hello gurus,

I had my etch installation all set up with preseeding so that it wouldn't ask me a single thing -- it would just do it. Very nice if you have lots of machines to install. But something's changed in the last few revisions, and now I can't seem to figure out how to make that darned "Choose language" question from /usr/bin/localechooser to go away.

Can someone enlighten me?

The preseeds I'm curently using are:

d-i console-keymaps-at/keymap string us
d-i console-keymaps-usb/keymap string us
d-i console-keymaps-sun/keymap string sunkeymap
d-i countrychooser/shortlist string US
# d-i debian-installer/language string en_US:en_GB:en
d-i debian-installer/language string en
d-i mirror/udeb/suite string sarge
d-i languagechooser/language-name string English

Is there a list somewhere of what's changed with regards to preseeding?

Thanks a bunch,

Michael Peek

Whoops, those are my preseeds from my sarge installer. But the only change that I have for my etch installation is the following:

d-i mirror/udeb/suite string etch

Thanks again,

Michael Peek
