Jigdo and bittorrent images for the weekly builds are available for AMD64
from: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/amd64/
And for the Beta 2 release from:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/etch_di_beta2/amd64/
It does sound like your problem is a download problem rather than a
problem with the installation itself. See this link for the possible
