Processor: EM64T 3,06 GHZ Intel
Memory: 2 times 512 MB 533MHZ DDR2
Partitions: first partition Windows XP (20GB), secound Debian, free space, 3 and 4 partitions with 40 GB each.

Output of lspci and lspci -n: ????? don't know

Comments/Problems:
The installer says the kernel needed mismatches the one the installer is using or something
like that.. and the Installation cannot go on. The word that
I get is KERNEL MISMATCHES!.

Well, it is not really a crash. It's just an error that occurs when the 
installer cannot find  packages with additional kernel modules on the DVD 
that are needed for example to support your harddisk. This does make 
continuing the installation rather pointless though.

To be able to find the cause of that, we really do need the answers to the 
other questions I asked you.

I'm closing this report. Please feel free to file a new one if you do run 
another test.
