Bug#288280: sarge cd install hangs in reboot

Comments/Problems:
During reboot the system hangs. This is what can be
seen on the screen when the boot hangs:

I´ve browsed the information on debian.org and
searched the mail archieves for information about this
problem, but found nothing. Anyone having a clue how
to remedy this?
