Re: Can't get past "choose your language"

The cd came from http://ftp-mirror.internap.com/pub/debian-cd/i386/

I think I've tried all the languages by now with the same result - back to the old screen. My preference of course would be english us.

Using alt-F2 took me to another screen, but when I typed in cat /var/log/syslog I got the 'no such file or directory' message. However, pressing alt-F3 took me to an event log of some kind, and it seems that the 'unmounting partition mounted a t / instmnt' messages correpond to my language choosing attempts.

There is no 'go back' option on the first screen.

I'll go ahead and file an install report as well.

Thanks. This is fun.
